Hakan Leblebicioglu

Hakan Leblebicioglu is Professor of Infectious Disease at VM Medicalpark Samsun Hospital in Turkey. He is elected fellow of European Society for Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID).
He was involved in clinical diagnostic services and infection control programs in Ondokuz Mayis University Hospital for 25 years. He led the Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic Fever and healthcare associated infections research efforts in Turkey, participating in the infection prevention and management. He served as the founding chair of ESCMID Study Group for Infections in Travellers and Migrants (ESGITM).
His teaching experience includes clinical seminars and training on infectious diseases and postgraduate supervision of fellows. He has conducted workshops and courses in the area of effective communication, presentation skills, proposal and manuscript writing.
He has been published extensively as author or co-author of over 175 papers in highly regarded, peer-reviewed journals with 4443 citations and holds a current author H-Index of 36 (Web of Science). He is editor-in-chief of Annals of Clinical Microbiology and Antimicrobials.
